  - Individually selected the two main objects; the tube and the lid. From there I played with curves, selective colours, and photo filters. 

- I used multiple layers (19) to create this dark focus

- I played around with: hue/saturation, gradient map,           exposure, black & white, colour balance, dark fade,

- I used the lasso tool to capture the mascara on the paper, did selective colour, and altered the hue/saturation

  - I was interested in trying the lasso tool, however it didn't end up working. This lead me to becoming more creative and trying other tools like: brightness and contrast, colour balance, channel mixer

- I ai expanded the photo 

- I played around with exposure, saturation, curves, brightness   

- I isolated each ice cube on a separate layer and inverted them

- duplicated the original photo and increased the lightness
